Release 2.0.0

Purpose
The first release of the new Gembaa, a no-code project and program management workspace.
Who is this for
Everyone

Released 22 September 2026. This is the first release of the new Gembaa app, rebuilt on a configurable foundation where admins shape the data and everyone works in tables, boards and timelines. See What's new in Gembaa for how it compares with the previous version.

  • Your own schema. Admins create entities and custom fields with no code, including relations, formulas, money and rich text. See Entities and custom fields.
  • Terminology. Entity names follow your organisation's words. See Terminology.
  • CSV import. Admins can create an entity from a CSV, and users can import records with a mapping step and a worklist of issues. See Import from CSV.
  • Table views. Customise, freeze, filter, sort, highlight and group. See Customise your table view.
  • Tabs and links. Save views as tabs. Every tab and open record has its own link. See Create and manage tabs.
  • Kanban boards for any entity with a Status field, with drag between statuses. See Statuses.
  • Record panel with nested records, sub-lists and activity history. See The record panel.
  • Plan and deliver. Dashboard, Demand, Programs, Projects, Milestones, Tasks and sub-tasks. See Dashboard.
  • Gantt with swimlanes, draggable milestones and a clearer Today marker. See Gantt.
  • Also new: RAIDD, OKRs, Finance, Pulse with a latest-pulse column, and Knowledge.
  • Export to PowerPoint decks on your company master, a one-page record summary and a Pulse summary deck. See Export data.
  • People. Allocation with list and chart views and PNG export, plus Staff, Teams and Skills. See Allocation.
  • Access control. Per-entity and per-record rules, contributor roles and parent-derived access. See Access control.
  • Single sign-on and automatic account provisioning. See Members, SSO and provisioning.
  • Admin tools. Left menu arrangement, preset tabs, theme and colours, seed profiles and an admin activity log.
  • Your account. Light and dark modes, English and French, and first-time onboarding. See Your settings.
